Das war die Ausfahrt vom 14.9.24 in Allaman

Under blue skies, 51 Solexers met in Allaman in the canton of Vaud on 14 September 2024 for the annual ride organised by the VeloSoleX Switzerland association. The almost 60-kilometre route first took us to the ‘La Côte’ wine region and a guided tour of the wine cellars in the Château de Vinzel. We continued through the vineyards across the French border to Divonne-les-Bains and from there to Nyon on Lake Geneva. We braved the strong headwind along the lake back to Allaman. In the evening, we were treated to a wine tasting organised by the Domaine de la Tuilière and a three-course meal by two members of the Club Les Potes au Feu .
You can find some photos here.
There is also a video of Lord Authentic on Youtube.

A dream comes true! With the Velo-Solex from Münsingen near Bern to the Eiffel Tower in Paris
Autor: Katrin Lienhart

It all started with a somewhat crazy idea: Thomas from Münsingen dreamed of traveling to Paris to the Eiffel Tower in a small group on his old Velosolex! He even found like-minded people: Ernst “Aschi” from Hettiswil and Monika and Hansueli from Bolligen. In a roundabout way, Katrin and Noldi from Rekingen in Aargau joined us, who had never sat on a Solex before!

Solexer of the month: Andy

I'm Andy, forty-two, from the region of Solothurn. I've been working on motorcycles for over 30 years now. The Solex have always impressed me, so I finally bought one in the summer of '22, cheap and in poor condition. I had no idea either, but I'm enjoying it more and more and the ugly duckling has become a beautiful swan. I definitely need it once every week, even if it's just to get fresh croissants in the village. People really enjoy it! Kind regards, Andy
